Alicia Richards M.S. Ed., BCBA

Alicia Richards received her BA from Villanova University, majoring in Psychology. During this time she began working as a behavior therapist for children with autism. She went on to the University of Pennsylvania to receive her MSEd with a focus in Psychological Services. She continued her work as therapist to children with autism, working closely with consultants to provide programs based on the ABLLS, manage problem behavior, and train new therapists. She went on to post-graduate work, receiving a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University and becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In addition to her work through VBN Training, she consults for the Pennsylvania Verbal Behavior Project, assisting and training teachers in ABA/VB throughout southeastern PA and NJ. In addition to her consulting work, Alicia provides workshops for parents and teachers. She has presented posters of case studies at the Association for Behavior Analysis International as well as Penn State’s National Autism Conference.
